Cynthia's Training Philosophy:
I design training sessions with your goals in mind, but I also like to keep things interesting. I am a big fan of Medicine balls, Stability Balls, and Balance Discs to help enhance core strength, balance and stability. I also enjoy incorporating free weights, machines, resistance bands, and other "toys", depending on your specific goals. In addition, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility training are also key to obtaining overall health benefits from exercise, but most importantly, your workout has to be FUN!
Whether you need to train one-on-one with your Personal Trainer, or train with a partner, both can keep you accountable, and Cynthia makes training fun and social!
STEP 1:A fitness assessment before you begin workouts helps to establish a baseline of fitness (assessments for those over 60 years of age are tailored to those individuals' abilities).
STEP 2: Take what we learned at the assessment, and build on that! Customized fitness programs for all ages and abilities!
Ever considered multisport (Also know as triathlon)? If you have ever swam, biked or run at any point in your life, you have something to build on!
Triathlons, fun runs, and other endurance events are great accomplishments and can be attempted at almost any age with the proper training (and as long as your body agrees!).
